How do I get the IE 8 browser to refresh the website after logging in?
Newer versions of the IExplorer browser (8 & above) may by default use an unrecommended means to refresh/reload webpages from webservers. To change this behavior select "Internet Options" under the "Tools" menu followed by selecting the "Security" tab. How do I get the Windows version of the Safari browser to play videos?
In Safari, TEP videos are played using the built-in HTML5 videoplayer. However, Safari apparently uses Quicktime to actually play videos. So, if you are using a Windows OS, you must download the free Quicktime plug-in to play videos. Unfortunately, you may experience a delay the first time you play a video as Quicktime loads into Safari's cache. For this reason, on Windows PC we recommend using one of the other browsers when surfing the internet to watch videos such as Firefox, Chrome, or IExplorer (V8 and above).
How do I get the videos to play on my computer?
On older browsers and when using Firefox you will need to install the Adobe Flash (V9 or greater) plug-in to play the videos. The plug-in software is a free download and very easy to install. Simply Google "Flash Player" to reach the Adobe website where the plug-in can be downloaded.
How do I contact participating naturalists?
If a contributing naturalist wants to receive comments / feedback, an email link will be displayed to the right of his or her name. Some contributors also supply a website address (URL). Whether such contact information is displayed, however, is decided by each contributor. Otherwise we do not provide contact information of participants.
